All ready to leave for school this morning. Almost as excited as yesterday!

"We love Pre-K!"
He played on the slide and on "the thing that goes up and down".
He said he had the same thing for breakfast as yesterday (Cheerios, toast, milk and juice) because he "loves it". Sort of surprised that he didn't try the yogurt parfait, but I suppose he may be on an all Cheerios and toast diet for the near future.
He was very happy that he had a juice box with his snack today.
They read The Wheels on the Bus and sang it. He sang it to me. :)

The hitting incident yesterday didn't actually happen (as far as she knows). Silly Eli. I guess our talk needs to be about telling the truth, not about hitting.

There was a little incident today. Eli and Hayden were playing together, and Eli started to get overwhelmed, wanting his own space to play by himself. She had him use his words to tell Hayden that he was mad and that he wanted to play all by himself, but when Hayden continued to try to play with him, Eli had a meltdown. Miss Robie had him go sit quietly for a few minutes to calm down, and then he was fine. She explained to Hayden that sometimes Eli needs some time alone. Hmm...Eli sounds like his mom. :)
Eventually the two of them will naturally give each other some space and find other playmates to spread the love to.
For now, Eli will do this to Gideon.
