Day 1 - Truth Telling

Eli greeted the day like it was Christmas morning. "Today is my first day of school! I am so excited!"
First shot in the full ensemble.
Wearing his backpack however he feels like wearing it.
Eli rode to China Primary with Gideon and I in the van, Daddy following in the car, and had a banana on the way there.
He was the third child there (after Seth and David), and they had a table with a spread of games and puzzles for the kids to play while they waited for breakfast. Eli played with a puzzle where you used a magnet to pull pieces along a path.
According to Eli...
He had toast, Cheerios, milk and juice for breakfast.
Miss Robie read them Llama Llama Misses Mama.
Eli ate his apple at snack time but was sad that he didn't have a juice box like some of the other kids.
He played on the slide at recess and took turns with the other kids.
He used the bathroom and remembered to wash his hands afterward.
He hit another child and had a 2 minute time out.

According to Miss Robie...
Eli and Hayden stuck together most of the day.
Eli had a good first day.
He pretty much stuck to playing with blocks and the sand table.

Mama...
Spent a good part of the afternoon attempting to get a clear explanation from Eli of why he hit someone (he doesn't even hit Gideon when Gideon hits him at home).
We failed in the clarity department. Not surprised.
Sent an e-mail to Miss Robie to find out what really happened.
Bought Eli some juice boxes.
